Construction Measures and Infrastructure Projects
In April 2026, the Meßstetten town council provided significant impetus for local infrastructure. The construction work in the 7th construction phase of Bueloch (Gottlieb-Daimler-Straße) was awarded to the company Christian Koch GmbH & Co. KG with a final offer price of 712,775.67 €. The work is scheduled to be carried out from May to November 2026. This project is another step in the ongoing development of residential construction in Meßstetten.
In Tieringen, an important project was also launched: the renewal of the water pipeline in Hinter Burg street. The company Clemens Müller GmbH & Co. KG was commissioned with a final offer price of 234,961.11 €. The work is planned for the period May to September 2026 and will ensure the drinking water supply in the region.
In Hartheim, the Mayor Frank Schroft, with the approval of the town council, was authorized to assign the construction work for the left-turn lane to the road construction office. The planning services (LP 6–8) were awarded to the planning office Hermle with a final offer price of 172,098.10 €. This step marks another milestone in the development of the building area "Grund/Hülbenwiesen".
Legal and Organizational Adjustments
The town council unanimously decided to transfer the approval of the community under § 36a BauGB (Bau-Turbo) to the Mayor and the administration, as long as there are no matters of fundamental importance. This decision accelerates the approval procedures for construction projects and strengthens the efficiency of the administration.
In addition, the receipt of individual donations (18,930.29 €) and small donations (105.97 €) for the period 14.03.2025 to 31.12.2025 was approved. The approval was unanimous and in accordance with § 78 Abs. 4 of the municipal code. This underlines the transparency and accountability of the municipality.
Citizen Orientation and Transparency
The decisions of the town council in April 2026 show how strongly the municipality of Meßstetten focuses on infrastructure, construction and planning, as well as citizen orientation. The clear allocation of construction measures, the legal certainty provided by the approval under § 36a BauGB, and the transparency in donation approvals reflect the community-oriented policy.
It is especially important that citizens are informed about the planned measures. Those affected in the respective streets and building areas can rely on a certain degree of planning security, which positively influences daily life and community living in the municipality.
Outlook for May 2026
May 2026 in Meßstetten will be characterized by the implementation of the approved construction projects. The construction work in Bueloch and Tieringen will begin, and the planning in Hartheim will gain momentum. In addition, the municipality will continue to focus on transparency and efficiency in administration.
