Kita Modernization: A Milestone for the Future

At the 12th session of the municipal council on 28 April 2026, it was unanimously decided to support the Catholic Daycare Center St. Stephan with 100,000 euros from the municipal budget. The total cost of the major renovation amounts to nearly 550,000 euros. The investment is a clear signal of the importance of early childhood education in Putzbrunn and contributes to the creation of modern and safe spaces for children.

The Kita St. Stephan is a central educational facility in the district. The renovation will include barrier-free access, new play and learning areas, as well as energy-saving technology. The decision also emphasizes the cooperation between the Church and the city in childcare services.

Planning Committee Decides: From Fast-Food Containers to Zoning Plans

The planning committee made decisions on several construction projects in April. Particularly notable is the approval of a removable fast-food container on parcel number 685/33. Measuring 3.05 x 6.08 x 3.05 meters, the container is flexible and may serve as a temporary food service solution in urban areas.

In addition, changes to Zoning Plan No. 45, 4th amendment "north of Grasbrunner Straße" were approved. These changes allow for better use of the area and adapt the planning to current construction and infrastructure needs.

There were also decisions on private construction projects, such as the extension of a single-family house with parking spaces (Parcel No. 31/2, Glonner Str. 5). The adjustment of the roof slope was coordinated in accordance with building regulations.

Transparency and Civic Participation – More Than Ever

The city of Putzbrunn continues to prioritize transparency. All draft resolutions, reports, and documents from the municipal council meeting on 28 April 2026 are available online at www.putzbrunn.de. The press release was already published on 21 April 2026, and the agenda can be accessed in the sections Town Hall & Services → Municipal Council & Committees → Public Information → Meeting Calendar.

This digital openness strengthens the trust between the mayor's office and the citizens and enables active participation in political decisions.

From Kindergarten to Construction Planning – A Municipal Routine in Focus

April shows how diverse the tasks of a city community are. From education through infrastructure to planning in urban space – Putzbrunn is in motion. The decisions of the municipal council and planning committee reflect the city's priorities: investments in the future of children, flexible solutions for commerce and housing, and transparent communication with citizens.

Although no budget positions in the millions were mentioned, the sums allocated for modern Kita care or small commercial projects demonstrate the city's commitment to the everyday lives of its citizens.

Outlook: What's Coming in May?

In May, the focus will be on the Summer Planning 2026, with highlights on city festivals, primary school renovations, and the renovation of community center technology. In addition, meetings on the city council and climate protection strategy are planned. Residents can look forward to further discussions and decisions – transparent and in direct communication.
