Sport and Movement in Bobingen: Focus on Aquamarin and Swimming Pool Planning

In March 2026, Bobingen will focus on the development of sports infrastructure and the planning of the open-air swimming season. In particular, Aquamarin Bobingen will introduce new dates and offers.

Swimming and Sports in Bobingen: March 2026 in Focus

In the Bobingen region, sport is a central part of community life. The city continuously invests in sports facilities and leisure activities to promote the health and quality of life of its citizens. In March 2026, the focus will primarily be on planning related to Aquamarin – a central meeting point for movement and community.

The 2026 Swimming Season: Clear Dates and Expanded Offers

The 2026 open-air swimming season will begin on 09.05.2026 and is expected to end on 14.09.2026. This long-term planning allows the city to prepare its infrastructure optimally for the summer and simultaneously provides citizens with clear scheduling. Particularly notable are the extended opening hours: In June, July, and August, Aquamarin will open on Thursdays as early as 7:00 a.m. – an offer specifically tailored for early swimmers and athletes.

This adjustment reflects the growing demand for early training times, especially in the region, where many sports clubs and schools train intensively in the water. At the same time, the demand for swimming pool access during lunch breaks and on weekends is taken into account, which is why the daily opening hours remain until 7:30 p.m.

School Swimming Week: Prevention and Education in the Water

Another highlight is the school swimming week, planned for the week from 20.07.2026 to 24.07.2026. This initiative is part of the city's health promotion program and aims to ensure the swimming skills of the younger generation. In recent years, the topic of "learning to swim" has repeatedly come into focus – not least due to the increasing number of accidents in water bodies.

The school swimming week offers children not only fun, but also the opportunity to learn safe handling in the water. The city closely collaborates with local swimming clubs and schools to ensure professional and varied supervision.

Moonlight Swimming: A Highlight for the Whole Family

Also planned again is the popular offer of moonlight swimming. Although exact dates have not yet been fixed, it is likely that a special evening at Aquamarin will take place again this year. Such events are not only a highlight for families, but also an important signal for sports and cultural activities in the city. They strengthen the sense of community and show how sport can also be a medium for social enthusiasm.

Outlook: Sport as a Central Component of Urban Development

Bobingen shows through these plans that sport is not only a leisure activity, but a central pillar of urban development. By investing in sports facilities, educational offers, and family-friendly events, the city's attractiveness is increased. At the same time, this work contributes to health promotion and the strengthening of the social infrastructure.

In April 2026, the first concrete dates and event announcements will be published. Anyone interested in further developments should therefore keep an eye on the city's channels in the coming weeks.
