In March 2026, the local council of Raderach unanimously approved the support for the project "Raderacher Boule-Treff." With a total support of 550 euros, bocce balls, a bocce circle, a rake, and mobile seating will be purchased. The goal of the project is to create a weekly meeting opportunity for approximately 10 to 15 people – a place where encounters, conversation, and sporting fun take center stage.

This project is a good example of civic engagement supported by the city. It contributes to strengthening social contacts and enriching the local community. The Boule-Treff will be offered on the bocce court at the Raderach football field and occasionally encourage tournaments. Residents thus not only gain a new sport and leisure offer, but also a space that deepens relationships and strengthens the sense of community.

Cultural and Social Committee: Review and Outlook

At the same time, the Cultural and Social Committee met on March 4, 2026, and received important reports. The annual report of the Media House at the Lake for the years 2024 and 2025 was publicly presented. It included, among other things, digital development, cooperations, and future plans. The report also includes a restructuring of the offer and the expansion of third-party funding, indicating long-term planning and professionalization.

Integration and Future: New Paths in the Cultural and Social Committee

Another step toward stronger citizen participation was the appointment of the chairperson of the City Forum as an expert citizen in the Cultural and Social Committee. This is a significant step to promote the participation of the population and to ensure that cultural and social developments in the city are supported by the citizens.

In addition, general topics were discussed in the meeting, including current projects and events, as well as open questions from the public question session.
